The families of North School celebrated the season of giving on Friday 28th November 2014. It was a North School Cares initiative. Through the programme ‘North School Cares’, each learner’s family donates a specified item which brings a moment, a day or even a month of relief to the less fortunate members of the community. Families brought their picnic suppers and spread their blankets on the rugby field. The children entertained everyone with readings from the Christmas story followed by carol singing. The weather was perfect and the two chosen charities for the last two months of the year, Ons Gryse Jeug and the SPCA, benefitted greatly.
